Extended Role

It includes stoma and catheter care and we would ensure that our staff receive appropriate training before supporting with these tasks. Our staff may also supportwith the administration of suppositories, buccal medication and pessaries, eye drops, creamsand ointments. Additional training would be required and appropriate risk assessments implemented to ensure safe practice.
